This is the first quest of Camp Olympus. All Quest Updates will be written in red. Here's how a quest works: You pick a character who you want to go on a quest, and these characters will be on a quest for a while. I will give updates on the Quest as it progresses, and I will also give updates on happenings at camp. For every quest, there is a camp member who is closely involved with the quest. This person will automatically go on the quest, no matter what. For every quest, there is also a prophecy from the Oracle. Keep in mind that the goal of this quest is to cure Willow of the affects of the smoke she inhaled, which makes her turn evil, and to locate Amber, Jason's long lost friend, because she may have some answers about the situation. Here is the prophecy for this quest:
To the land of desert you shall head
To find the one that many thought dead
Destroy the evil that plagues the Tree
Set the one who was captured free
But know this, and know it well
If her secret you shall tell
The one you love most will go to the place
Where shadows crave your soul, and no one has a face
Members of the Quest:
1) Willow
2) Jason
3) ?
4) ?
The question mark means that that spot is available, and that another character can go on the quest.
If anyone has any suggestions for what happens during the quest, and what the lines of the prophecy mean, feel free to share them , and I will try to incorporate them into the Quest.
Enjoy!

Entry 7: Amber Lendin
Willow awoke to see Holly standing off to the side looking concerned, and Jason, standing over her.
"She's awake." Jason said, turning towards Holly.
"Oh, thank Zeus." Holly said, sighing with relief.
Willow sat up in bed and looked at Jason. "What's going on? What just happened?" she inquired.
"This'll take a while, Willow. You might want to lay down." Jason said. He then began his tale....
" When I was born, my mom looked at me and said:"He's adorable. I'll call him Jason." she laid me down in my crib, and that's all I remember of the day I was born. When I was 3, I remember a man leaving my house, and my mother wishing him farewell. When I mentioned this to my mother when I was 5, she said that man was my father. I had never really known my father, and did not worry much over his leaving, but my mother took it hard. She got worse as the years went by. Eventually, she sent me to boarding school so I wouldn't see her grieving when I was 13. While I was there, I met a girl. Her name was Amber Lendin. We became close friends, and she told me about demigods. I found out that she was a daughter of Zeus, and that I was a son of Poseidon. She told me how many normal families had rejected their demigod children, and how she had met a family who had done this to a little 7 year old, and she had no clue why. Amber wanted to support young demigods to find places where they could really be accepted.
There were a few other demigods there, and I supposed that's why what happened happened. A herd of hellhounds and empousa came and attacked the school. There were few survivors. Amber was dueling a demigod who seemed to be controlling the hellhounds. He performed a strange ritual, and black smoke came out of his mouth. The smoke forced itself down Amber's throat. She changed. She killed the demigod and all the enemies, and began acting horribly, treating those who were once her friends with cruelty. All the demigods who were left realized that it was the smoke, and they worked hard to remove it from Amber's body. After 2 years, someone finally succeeded. As soon as the smoke left Amber's body, she realized what she had been doing. Ashamed, she left immediately, though we tried to persuade her to stay. She claimed that she was going to a camp for demigods, to do good deeds to redeem herself. We tried to follow her, but she was too fast.
After Amber had left, we kept the smoke in a glass jar. However, there was a traitor among us. This person set the smoke free, and unleashed on the world. I think that you might have been affected by the smoke, Willow."
Willow sat there for a minute, and then said:" How do I fix it?"
"Well", Jason said, "I have managed the affects if the smoke temporarily, but it won't last. I'll have to keep performing the ritual over and over, which might be bad for your health. I think that if we find Amber, we may be able to figure something out."
Willow then said, "Well, there's only one thing to do. We need to initiate a quest."

Entry 6: The Children of Hermes, and Willow's Rage
Jason had found them. He had gotten their names. Not her. Why was this making her so angry? She couldn't introduce all the recruits. But, when she had gotten the news from Holly that Jason had found two boys in the forest and had learned their names, she had nearly destroyed The Cottage. It had been disastrous. Now she sitting in the Athena cabin, contemplating why she was so angry. Holly had said she needed to take a rest and calm down. Holly was probably right. Willow hadn't been this angry since she had first found out why her mother had abandoned her to live with her alcoholic father. But, that wasn't the only thing she was worried about.
The recruits. What were their names? Brandon and..... Lucas? She wasn't quite sure. They were children of Hermes, and they said that they had ran away from home and met up along the way. But something about their story didn't quite fit. She was determined to keep an eye on them until she was sure they were telling the truth.
Her mind wandered again, this time thinking about why she was so furious. Jason had found them, he should have been the one to find out their names and show them around the camp, right? But something was clouding her judgement. Her decisions seemed biased, and hr actions seemed more discriminative. She wasn't herself, and she wasn't sure why. There wasn't anything to cause these things to happen. She was more violent now, and she was acting cold towards people who were her friends. What was happening?
Then suddenly, her head began to pound with great force. She couldn't see much anymore, and her gut was beginning to explode with pain. She clutched her head, and cried out. She just wanted the pain to stop. Someone barged into the room, she wasn't sure who. She heard someone say, It's Ok Willow, calm down, you'll be fine. But the person who was speaking sounded panicked. Then, there was nothing but blackness.

Entry 5: The Child of Hades.
She'd been standing in the clearing. Just standing there, watching Willow's cabin, the Athena cabin. She didn't move, she didn't even blink. She just stood there, her blue hair shining in the moonlight. Willow had first seen her when she had gotten up to get a drink. Willow was worried. Who'd want to stand out in the middle of camp at 1 o'clock in the morning? Willow thought for a few minutes, then decided to get out of her cabin and face the stranger. She got out of the cabin, and walked towards the girl standing in the clearing.
She pulled out her sword, and said: "Who are you?"to the girl.
The girl looked calmly at her and said: "My name is River Marino. My father is Hades. Are you Willow Sunshade, the leader of Camp Olympus?"
Willow nodded, refusing to let down her guard.
"Well then, may I please stay here at your camp?"
Willow was surprised for a moment, but she then relaxed. River just wanted to join the camp.
"Come with me. I need to show you your cabin." she said after a brief pause.
" No, I can find it myself." River said. She then walked off into the distance, leaving Willow alone once again.

Entry 4: New Recuits
Holly walked into The Cottage, dragging 3 girls along behind her. One had messy brown hair and brown eyes, while another had sleek brown hair tied back in a ponytail. The third girl had long blonde hair and dark eyes. "Well, would you look at that. Half-bloods! Give me each your names and godly parents." Willow said, looking at each of them in turn.
The girl with blond hair quickly said " My name is Elizabeth Thunderstrike, and I'm a daughter of Zeus.
The girl with her hair in a ponytail said " Kat. Kat Micellis. Daughter of Hephestaus."
The girl with the messy brown hair sighed and said "Evalyn Masters. Daughter of Ares."
Willow smiled at them and said:" Welcome to Camp Olympus."
They all went out into the main clearing to get settled in their cabins, and Willow allowed herself a small smile. Camp Olympus was doing better then she had thought. With that out of the way, she went to the Arena, and proceeded to beat the stuffing out of several of the dummies there. She was still in there when Someone snuck up behind her. She whirled around, only to come face to face with Jason.
"What do you want?" she snapped irritably.
" I just wanted to talk. I heard some news about Amber, and I need your help." he said.
Willow sighed. " Just another day in Camp Olympus. Alright, what is it."
"Well, you probably won't like it."
The girl with blond hair quickly said " My name is Elizabeth Thunderstrike, and I'm a daughter of Zeus.

Entry 3: A little girl named Candy
She had been sleeping in the Athena cabin when it had happened. She had heard strange thumping noises coming from outside, so she had decided to investigate. By the time she had gotten outside, however, the noises had stopped and there was no one in the clearing where the cabins were located. She began to look around the camp, trying to find the source of the noise. Finally, she checked the dining pavilion. A little girl was standing in the center of the pavilion, munching on some chicken. She turned around and saw Willow. She let out a small yelp, and took off like a shot. Willow began to chase after her, which was extremely difficult, because the girl was faster than a startled rabbit. Finally, she caught up to the girl, and she grabbed her arm. The girl fought to free herself, but Willow wouldn't let go. The girl looked to be about 10. "Tell me your name." she said kindly, trying not to frighten the little girl.
"My name is Candy. Candy Dean."the girl said, looking frightened.
" I ran away from home a few moths ago, because my family hated me for being a....a..... demigod. That's it. yeah. A demigod. There's a place I've heard of , called Camp Olympus, that's supposed to be a place for demigods. Do you know where it is?"Candy said.
"Candy, you're already at Camp Olympus." she said kindly.
The little girl smiled and said: "I am? I didn't know that. She paused for a minute, then said, Can I stay here?"
Willow laughed and said: "Of course! But, I need to ask you. Do you know who your godly parent is?
Candy paused, then said: "No."
Willow frowned, then said "OK. Let me show you your cabin."
She'll have to be put in the Hermes cabin. She thought as they walked together towards the cabins. And with that, they walked of together, underneath the stars.

Entry 2: Son of the Sea
Where is Holly? Willow thought as she gazed across the field. She was standing on the porch of The Cottage, where the oracle was held, and where new members were introduced. Holly had promised to meet her in 2 minutes. She sighed, and wished that things were different.
She had founded Camp Olympus with Holly, but only two people had come to stay. It was frustrating, working so hard to build a camp and no one showing up. As if on cue, she heard some yelling coming from around the corner. It sounded like Holly and a.... boy? There weren't any boys in camp. Willow grabbed her sword, and raced to help Holly. Once she arrived on the scene, she saw Holly fighting a boy who looked about her age. She was using her bow, and he was using a spear. He was a good fighter, and he was holding up well. But that was before she had arrived. She entered the fray, and slashed at him with her sword. He blocked the attack with his spear, and tried to push her down, but she held her ground. The boy cursed, and then lunged at her with his spear. She ducked, and the spear went over her head. She then punched the boy in the jaw. He yelled and began to attack with more force. She blocked each of his attacks, then punched him in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. He dropped to one knee, and she pointed her sword at his face. "Tell me your name." she said, her voice loud and commanding.
"Jason Calloway. I came here to look for someone."
"Who?" she asked.
" Her name is Amber, and she's a good friend of mine. She said she was going to a camp for demigods. I can only assume that this is the place that she meant. Is she here?"
Willow shook her head. There was no one named Amber at camp.
"Well, that's just great." He sighed, then said: "Do you mind if I stay for a while? I need to get some rest. Besides, she might show up here sometime soon."
Willow said: "No, I don't mind at all. Do you know who your godly parent is?"
Jason said: "Poseidon."
Willow smiled and said: "Good. Holly will show you around." she gestured at Holly while she was speaking. Jason then walked off with Holly, and Willow returned to the porch of the Cottage. It's strange, she thought, that right after I wished some more people would show up, someone showed up. As she walked towards the porch, she looked up at the sky. There wasn't a cloud in sight.

Entry 1: The Soarsongs
Willow had found them in the forest. Two girls with red hair were standing in the forest and bickering. You could hear them a mile away.
"We're lost, Alice! Admit it!" a girl who appeared to be 13 said.
"We're not lost, Harmony, we're probably on the outskirts of the place now. Calm down!" this time an older girl was speaking, who looked eerily like the other girl.
"Calm down? Calm down? Alice, we're in the middle of a forest, and you don't have a clue where we are!"the 13 year old said.
Willow cleared her throat, and the two girls turned and looked at her. The older one narrowed her eyes, then pulled out two silver daggers and charged at Willow.
The girl tried to stab Willow's leg, but Willow moved her leg to the left so that the dagger missed. She kicked upward, and hit the strange girl in the face. The girl cried out and dropped to the ground. Willow pointed her sword at the girls head and calmly said: "What are your names?"
The girl on the ground said: "Soarsong. Alice Soarsong. I'm here with my sister, Harmony. Who are you?" she asked
Willow replied saying: " I am the leader of Camp Olympus. My name is Willow Sunshade."
Alice smiled and said: "Good. Harmony and I were trying to find this place. We need a safe place for us to stay."
Willow said: "You can stay here at camp. We don't have a lot of people yet, so you're more than welcome to stay. Do you know who your godly parent is?"
Alice started to speak, but was cut of by the other girl, who had to be Harmony. "Our mother is Aphrodite." she said, while Alice looked irritated.
"Come along" Willow said, and they began to hike through the woods back to camp.......
